2017 Shakespeare Festival




The sixth Long Island Student Shakespeare Festival took place on May 12, 2017.  160 students performed excerpts from Macbeth, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Romeo and Juliet, Richard III, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and a collection of monologues. The musical highlight was a performance of Duke Ellington's "The Star-Crossed Lovers" by the Deer Park High School Jazz Band.  
 The guest artist was Metropolitan Opera star John Horton Murray.
